Do NOT be tempted to use online translators. They do not work 100%, and anyway, you wouldn't be learning anything without using your brain.
Here is a funny example of just how messed up things can get with those translators. This talented young woman put the lyrics to "Let It Go" from the movie Frozen through Google Translate many times, in many languages. Listen to how it came out in the end. Original Lyrics: The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, Not a footprint to be seen A kingdom of isolation, And it looks like I'm the queen The wind is howling, Like this swirling storm inside Couldn't keep it in, Heaven knows I've tried Don't let them in, don't let them see, Be the good girl you always have to be Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know, Well, now they know Let it go, let it go, Can't hold it back anymore Let it go, let it go, Turn away and slam the door I don't care what they're going to say, Let the storm rage on, The cold never bothered me anyway It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small, And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all, It’s time to see what I can do, To test the limits and break through No right, no wrong, no rules for me, I’m free Let it go, let it go I am one with the wind and sky, Let it go, let it go, You’ll never see me cry, Here I stand and Here I’ll stay, Let the storm rage on… My power flurries through the air into the ground, My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around, And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast, I’m never going back, The past is in the past Let it go, let it go, And I’ll rise like the break of dawn, Let it go, let it go That perfect girl is gone, Here I stand in the light of day, Let the storm rage on, The cold never bothered me anyway! |

This creative group of people put the lyrics to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" (an old Will Smith television show theme song) through Google Translate many times, in many languages.
Original Lyrics Now, this is the story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air In West Philadelphia, born and raised On the playground is where I spent most of my days Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool and all shootin' some B-ball outside of the school When a couple of guys who were up to no good started makin' trouble in my neighborhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said, "You're movin' with your aunty and uncle in Bel Air" I begged and pleaded with her the other day but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket I put my Walkman on and said, "I might as well kick it" First class, yo this is bad drinkin' orange juice out of a champagne glass Is this what the people of Bel Air are livin' like Hmm, this might be alright But wait, I hear they're prissy, bourgeois and all that Is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat? I don't think so, I'll see when I get thereI hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel Air Well I, the plane landed and when I came out there was a dude look like a cop standin' wavin' my name out I ain't tryin' to get arrested yet, I just got hereI sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared I whistled for a cab and when it came nearthe license plate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare but I thought now forget it, yo home to Bel Air I pulled up to a house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby, "Yo Holmes, smell you later" Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there to settle my throne as the prince of Bel Air |
